    These are some pictures I just took along the Hudson River Park bike trail in Manhattan, a scene of mayhem. with bikers, joggers and roller bladers, most of them unaware of the helicopter crash, and police, fire, and emergency rescue vehicles. Both the path and the West Side Highway remained open. Pier 54 was taken over by police and fire trucks. Also shown is the main entrance of the 30th Street heliport, housing a private helicopter pad and two helicopter tour companies.

    Pier 54 is directly across the Hudson River from Hoboken, New Jersey.
