    Perseid meteor over southern Indiana

    8-13-09 - Clear skies made for great viewing of the Perseid meteor showers over southern Indiana this morning.  Attached is one of several  images captured showing the meteor's colorful tail as it travels through Earth's atmosphere.  Continued clear conditions should make great viewing for the next several nights.
