    Racial profiling: Both sides

    Racism doesn't exist?

Throughout my time here on iReports the idea of race has come up in some of the most heated arguments. Many who claim that I or other like myself bring up the race card in arguments are the only reason why it still exists then are imune to the news around them.

For the past two days the local news (KENS 5 Eye Witness NEWS) here in South Texas has reported on a man who was fired for hiring a black person.  According to the news reports (which I apologize I cannot find) the apartment complex hiring policy was to keep a certain look about the place which 'did not include blacks'.

This was their hiring policy.  This is racism in the city I live in by a company that hires people in the local area.  These other people knew of this policy yet no one but this one manager who decided to go against the grain of the companies policy did anything about it.

Becasue they were being held at ranson by their salaries. In a hard economy it's easy for an employer to hold people hostage in this manner.  You say something you get fired and it's up to you to prove them wrong. You already don't have the funds so how the hell are you going to afford an attorney. You ever go consult with an attorney? Usually they discourage you from anything vaguely related to race. So you wasted your time and loose your job.

You are held by the company as a hostage of their racist policies with no where to turn.  The company should be put out of business.  Their assets should be confiscated and sold to who ever else wants to take over the property.  They are gulity of a crime not just against this one individual but everyone they've hired in the past.

I wish I could find the article. But for those who think racism is not an issue I beg to differ.  It's all over the place just hidden in little places like this all over the country.
