Sharing my Thinking Spot
One of my favorite places to go is a private footpath in the woods near my childhood home. There is a bridge that crosses a small brook.
I spent many hours here as a kid, especially in my teen years. I called it my thinking spot.
Over the years I have shared this special place with my friends and later my hubby. I have had the pleasure of sharing it with my kids as well as nieces and nephews too. It is one of the first things we do when we go home on vacation... visit the thinking spot.
It is still as magical as it was when I was young and it's beauty has remained. My kids are just as enchanted by it as I was/am.
Somehow the paths remain clear and the bridge is in good repair; which tells me there are others who love this spot too. In all the times I have visited I have never had anyone else show up there. Almost as if one can somehow step into a private vortex in time.
This summer was no different and I had my camera handy to get some photos of this special place. I have shared some here.
On this particular morning we had had a small shower and I was able to capture it's glistening drops on a couple of the pictures.
I hope you enjoy your visit (in pics) to the "Thinking Spot".
