Novak was the chief thorn in the side of Richard Nixon, during the Water Gate Scandal. One thing about Novak was that he loathed conservatives that breached the code of ethics while in office and he held them all accountable.
On or about 2005, in Washington DC., Novak was involved in an accident where he struck a pedestrian in his classic corvette, and he didn't know that he had done so.
Novak went to the hospital that week and discovered that he had a brain tumor, that subsequently ended his life. Robert Novak, Dead at 78...
