Pan Am 103 Bomber Deserves No Mercy or Compassion - Perspective From A Victim's Family
As the 24-year old nephew of Stuart Murray Barclay, who died on Pan Am 103 I recall my very first memory today: my mother watching the television, learning that her brother's plane had been blown up, crying in her bedroom. My first memory. And one that still is painful today. Watching this news coverage this morning has made me sad, angry, and perplexed. I cannot understand why it is a judge's decision to provide a convicted mass murderer and terrorist with compassion and mercy. It should be up to the family's to decided whether this murderer deserves the opportunity he never gave his victims: to say goodbye
