    Woodstock International Walk for World Peace

    The Woodstock International Walk for World Peace took place on Saturday, August 8, 2009 in Woodstock, NY. Nearly 300 people turned out early in the morning, and the parade of flags through town, and the World Peace Prayer Ceremony, held by the UN-affiliated World Peace Prayer Society in beautiful Comeau Field was wonderful. By mid-afternoon, the crowds were phenomenal.
