This iReport is part of an assignment:
Not-so-perfect weddings |
Tic-Tac
My husband and I got married in March of 2006. We wanted a fall wedding but when I found out I was pregnant we decided to push the wedding up. So here we are getting marreid and I am 3 months along. My main concern was not throwing up due to "morning" sickness, so when the flowers showed up and they were the wrong color i just shrugged it off...While waiting in a small room for the wedding to start I put 3 tic-tacs into my mouth...thinking it would calm my nerves. No more than a minute after I put the tic-tacs in my mouth my Mom comes in and tells me it is time. Forgetting about the slowly disolving candied mints in my mouth I walk down the isle with my father. During our vows (hubby went first) he forgot some of the words and needed them repeated. Every one chuckled but i was determined to get it all right. Again forgetting about the mints in my mouth I started repeating my vows. In my nervousness i let out a sigh which sent one of the tic-tacs still in my mouth flying at my husbands face. I finished my vows in a fit of laughter. When I was done my husband leaned towards me and said "Did you really just spit on me". He was just loud enough for people to hear and a roar of laughter broke out.
