Bill weakens in Atlantic |
Hurricane Bill- The Morning After- Bermuda
Morning Everyone,
These are my last set of video's. They were taken this morning between 11 and 12. We drove back to Devonshire Bay and were pleasantly surprised to find minimal damage. The roads hold a lot of leaves and small fallen branches however as far as we've seen no large tree's have fallen. Everything is just very salty and we just need some good rain to wash it all away. Our beaches have been washed away however longshore drift should eventually bring back a lot of the sand which was lost. I am pleased to report no fatal damage.
Thank you to all viewers for watching. Thank you to CNN for having me as one of your iReporters and using my videos; I hope they were of great help. To see my name and my fotage on TV was really thrilling and I will always remember that.
And now as Bill moves further up the East Coast I hope that those in the States and later on Canada were as lucky as we have been in avoiding major damage.
Thanks again,
Cheresa Lemaire. xx
