This iReport is part of an assignment:
Vick back in the NFL |
"Dogaholics" vs Michael Vick
There used to be a time, in the last century, where society actually tried to rehabilitate lawbreakers. Not so much, anymore… Now people want blood! Michael Vick should have never received such harsh punishment. Probation, community service and a fine would have been more than enough. Now that he has 'over-paid' his debt to society Vick deserves another chance. But despite all that he has suffered it is still not enough for the pack of dog-addicted people constantly trying to give dogs more value or importance than a human being’s life... They are nuts! These people should move on and leave Vick alone to rebuild his life. After all we are talking about dogs that probably sooner or later would have attacked and or killed a child or a senior.
I think there's a reason why the breed is called Pit Bulls, the 'pit' says it all... type of breed 'manufactured' for dog fighting. I invite any dog defenders to visit any state in the US at any given weekend and they will find a dogfight somewhere. Where are they protests screams while this is happening all over America? Michael Vick did not invent dog-fighting people; it is time you get over it.
The US has 90 million dogs and counting... dog 'defenders' so-called animal lovers should be more concerned about neutering and spaying their so-called ‘family members’ and picking up after their polluting dogs, which are the third biggest polluters of our waterways, instead of screaming for more punishment for Vick... how about finding someone else to hate? How about Catholic pedophile priests child abusers. I wonder where are all the same protesters when it comes to child abuse? Where are the protest signs for the rights of children?
Vick haters should get their priorities straight. No matter how many doggie fashions they put on dogs, it still comes out dog! In America people want to prentend dogs are people too and in Korea dogs make a great meal... Go figure? Peace! cookie
