    Senator Edward Kennedy 1932-2009

    Senator Ted Kennedy has passed away at the age of 77 in his home at Hyannis Port, Mass, after a lengthy battle with  brain cancer. The last member of the  Kennedy family dynasty, he now joins the rest of his family in the eternal world.

     

    Kennedy served nearly five decades in the US Senate fighting for Universal Healthcare & other matters which were particularly important to the less fortunate Americans, often working along side with the Republican Party on bi-partisan issues.

     

    The Senator will be buried in Arlington National Cemetery just a few feet away from his brothers JFK & RFK.  President Obama will deliver a eulogy at Kennedy's funeral on Saturday.
