Healthcare Reform Bus Tour Stops in New Mexico
Organizing for America, a network of Obama supporters led by the Democratic National Committee, has embarked on a project to push for healthcare reform across the nation.
I was in the crowd when the "Reform Bus Tour" made one of its first stops in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Mitch Stewart, Director of Organizing for America, and Dede Feldman, New Mexico State Senator, addressed the crowd, among others.
I got an email invitation to the event, and I saw that more than 500 people had signed up for it, so I decided to go.
I was hoping to ask Mitch Stewart a few questions, but, unfortunately, an assistant of his denied me the opportunity. He said that Mr. Stewart was having a "real" interview with CNN tomorrow morning (August 28), so he didn't want to do anything else.
