Wildfires blazing near you |
Mill Flat Fire Still Rages
The evacuation order for the New Harmony area has been lifted, however, the fire still rages. High, unpredictable winds have fueled the fire this evening causing it to flare up in new areas.
Exit 42 is closed to all but local traffic. Signs warn drivers not to stop along the I-15. Still, people are stopping along the Kolob exit and lining up in their cars to watch.
We hope morning brings less wind. The heavy, dense smoke continues to plume north, north east towards Cedar City and even up to Parowan. Local news reports smoke in Salt Lake City.
