What if you were car-free? |
PediCab Me Home ASAP!!!
Driving a car in NYC? You gotta be kidding.
Traffic, traffic jams, and yes the parking rules. And gas stations are kind of hard to find, specially midtown.
Not for me.
I tried a pedicab today, from work on 40th Street down Seventh Avenue to the corner of my street in Chelsea.
Dima Mitenok was the driver and he does know how to rush down the street and get you home asap. It took him less than 10 minutes to bike me home.
He's been at the job for three months. Pedicabs are a growing trend in the city.
On a normal day I take the subway
And yes, there's also walking. New York is a perfectly walkable town.
These pictures are coming to you from the streets of New York, almost live.
Last day of August 2009.
Wait- I took that picture! (8)
