Walking on Water
I just saw your horizons contest, unfortunately too late, but I thought I'd share this photo anyway. This was taken of me down in the Salt Flats of Bolivia. I was a tour guide down there and on this trip we spent the night out on the flats during the rainy season. So the 70 square kilometers or so of salt flats were covered in 3-12 inches of water. It took some doing, but I pried my group (and the drivers) out of bed before dawn and we drove down on to the flats. We sat on top of the trucks and enjoyed an otherworldly sunrise. At one point I decided to jump down into the very very cold water and take a picture of the people on the 4X4s and one of them (Michael Rimmer) took one of me. It's by far the coolest picture ever taken of me!
