This iReport is part of an assignment:
What if you were car-free? |
Day without driving in Atlanta
Yesterday I tried a day without driving in Atlanta, Georgia. I live less than three miles from work and close to public transportation, so getting there and back was no problem. Fortunately, we already had dinner at home –basic errands like going to the grocery store can be surprisingly difficult with Atlanta’s public transportation system.
Have you tried the iReport car-free challenge yet? We want to see people from all over – in metropolitan cities and tiny towns – show whether ditching their car is a realistic option.
