This iReport is part of an assignment:
African perspectives on black America |
if africans were coming here illegally
if african, carribean & hatian people were coming here in droves illegally, the united states would have been found a way to
tighten up it's borders!
i know that in the constitution, it says that if you are born on american soil you are automatically granted u.s citizenship, i was wondering what happens to all of the illgeal immigrants (mostly hispanic) that come here and have children, is it fair to deport the parent?
for the most part the usa will not deport a parent whose child was born here, that sort of makes them all get a free pass above all those who are waiting to come here legally and create a better life for themselves and their families.
africans in war torn countries and impoverished countries (some literally starving to death, we see the images on tv in commericals everyday) are waiting patiently to come here, in my opinion if africans were flooding up in this country illegally and we have to have african languages all over the place becasue they do not speak english, the united states would have found a way to shut it down a long time ago.
so african people spread the word come up here have a baby and get a free pass. lord knows that america does owe africans something.
