    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

MUFON Appoints New Director of P.R.

    (Denver, Colorado)

The International Director of MUFON, James Carrion says, "It's essential to MUFON that we be accessible to the public. Mark Easter has been a dedicated member of MUFON and we feel that with his qualifications he is the perfect man for the job."

The Mutual UFO Network is the largest UFO investigative organization on the planet. MUFON's mission is the scientific investigation and study of UFOs for the benefit of humanity. Mark Easter says, "When a citizen sees something in the sky that they cannot identify, they look for an agency to which they can report what they have witnessed. More often than not these witnesses are confronted with ridicule when they report what they have seen to the police or the news media. UFOs are real, and MUFON has been investigating this phenomenon since 1969. We encourage UFO witnesses to report their sightings immediately to MUFON so we can get investigator's boots on the ground within 48 hours or less."

All media inquiries to MUFON should now be directed to Mark Easter. He can be reached by phone at 775-358-9205, or his cell at 775-338-5018. You can also see MUFON on the web at www.mufon.com where you'll find a convenient and anonymous on-line report form. Follow Mark Easter's blogs at mufonpr.blogspot.com for up to date information on current UFO investigations.
