    My daughter (and her braces) in South Africa

    Our funniest experience in south African was when my 12 year old daughter met a group of high school age local kids  near Kruger National Park.  In addition to teaching her native song and dance, they were FASCINATED by her mouth full of orthodonture and repeated asked her if her braces were some kind of new and trendy American mouth jewelry.
