Health Demonstrations Today on Capitol Hill

I saw something quite interesting today in the hill. As I stepped outside of the Cannon House Building (after the American Legions presentation to the House and Senate Veterans Affairs committee) I noticed people gathering on the street corner. They were not all together, however they all were carrying signs, flags, petitions, ect... There were 2 mothers of fallen troops gathering signatures of some sort, a women collecting signatures on a card to send to troops overseas, and a group of Marine veterans opposing the suggested healthcare reform. I found this so interesting because even though they were there with different agendas, they all spoke and worked together to get their messages across. It was very peaceful, but moving. Just wanted to share a couple pictures I snapped with my phone.

God Bless America and Support Our Troops!
