Centennial Celebration for The Santa Monica Pier
September the 9th marked the 100th Birthday of the Santa Monica Pier. Many well known movies have been filmed at this Santa Monica Landmark, including Funny Girl, The Sting (one of my all time favorites) and The Majestic to name a few.
The festivities included music, Cirque du Soleil performers, and a Fireworks display over the bay!
All and all, I would have to say my favorite part of attending this celebration was riding the rollercoaster, over the ocean, at sunset..... now that was a sight!
This video is dedicated to my young friend Kaitlyn..... bringing you a moment of "fun" in your time of loss. I rode the rolllercoaster twice for you!
