Taken on a visit to World Botanical Gardens at Umauma Falls, near Hilo, Hawaii.
Hanging Lobster Claw - Heliconia Rostrata - Very beautiful, unusual plant. Related to the banana and bird of paradise families, common names include lobster claw and false bird of paradise. The main flowering period is summer....
