    Taken at World Botanical Gardens at Umauma Falls, near Hilo, Hawaii.

     

    The Crown of Thorns plant - Spiny, climbing succulent shrub, topped with small, brightly-colored beautiful flowers. It flowers nearly all year, especially in winter.
