Arsenal FC iReport: Standard Liege vs Arsenal FC

This Wednesdays Champions League clash against Standard Liege is sure to be exciting, as Arsenal look to bounce back from a tough away defeat to Manchester City. With Adebayor’s antics against Robin van Persie grabbing headlines, expect to see the Dutchman in flying form. I anticipate a 0-3 win for the Gunners as we march on to the final. The likes of Chelsea, Man United, Liverpool, Barcelona and Inter likely stand in our way in the latter stages, but with the worlds best manager and a young attack-minded squad, Arsenal are sure to be champions this season. COME ON YOU GUNNERS.

    Possible Starting XI:

    ——————V. Mannone

    B.Sagna--T. Vermaelen--W.Gallas—G.Clichy

    —————A.Song——V. Diaby

    ———————C.Fabregas

    E. Eboue——N.Bendtner——E. Da Silva

    ** Injury Updates 9/15**

This afternoon Arsenal announced a few regular first team players will be out with injuries/illness.  Manuel Almunia looks to have picked up an illness, and with a chest infection will not travel with the Gunners to Belgium. Striker Robin van Persie has picked up a knock and also will remain at home, while Theo Walcott has failed to recover from injuries picked up playing with the England u21s.
