Barcelona were reunited with one of their most prolific strikers in the history of the club, recently sold Samuel Eto'o, as they took on the Champions of Italy, Inter Milan.

Coached by Jose Mourinho, the Italians posed quite the threat as their counter-attack focused and defensive football hoped to stop the offensive powerhouse that is FC Barcelona, not to mention their newly acquired striker, Eto'o, wanted to prove that he was let go too soon.

The match ended in an uneventful nil-nil draw, but provided plenty of glimpses that is the brilliance to come from the likes of Leo Messi, Xavi,  and Zlatan Ibrahimovic (also recently sold from Inter to Barca).

Both clubs had 3 shots on goal, while Barca tallied up 15 total shots while Inter was held to 8.

Barcelona out-possessed their rivals as usual 64% to Inter's 36%.

Yellow cards were distributed to Yaya Toure and Thierry Henry for Barcelona, while Cristian Chivu was give a late yellow in the 90th minute.

Barcelona showed they are to be feared, and perhaps the cobwebs and little hiccups in the offense will be fully absent by the time these two giants of Europe meet again at the end of the group stage.
