World's Largest Baby - Day 3 - Part 2
Well folks we are halfway through day two and I just spoke with Sue Lott, on site photographer and lilliputian. She reports that the head is ready to go up but the body is just not full enough to meet the artist's expectations. The lilliputians are hard at work filling the body and appendages with foam blocks, foam pieces and foam in plastic bags. When the body is full the head will be set and the baby proclaimed complete. That is the artist, Jonathan Haner's head poking of of the neck in photo 1.
It has been an exciting day with workers filling the body from both the third floor window of the B.O.B. as well as through an opening in the foot. If you look at photos 5 and 6 you can see volunteers entering a tent like walkway to fill the body. The walkway will eventually become the leg and foot of the body.
When the head is attached you will hear it here first. For now stay tuned...
