Wrestle Against Republican Linda McMahon On Facebook

    By Marcus Cygy

    Original article: http://www.cygy.com/society/elections/wrestle-against-republican-linda-mcmahon-on-facebook/

Are you like me? Do you not trust Republican Linda McMahon, a candidate for the United States Senate in the state of Connecticut?

Well join the official “Linda McMahon Cannot Be Trusted In The US Senate” group on Facebook today by clicking here.

Together, we can all voice our concerns about a celebrity trying to force herself into the government with deep pockets stemming from dirty business endeavors with World Wrestling Entertainment.

In 2006, the WWE was involved in a steroid probe following a raid at a compound pharmacy in Mobile, Alabama. There were 20 criminal charges filed, with 11 of the pharmacy customers being wrestling performers of the WWE. This scandal told the cold truth that WWE wrestlers were still taking steroids among other drugs, despite the company instituting a wellness program for drug testing after the death of Eddie Guerrero in November 2005.

In June 2007, WWE wrestler Chris Benoit killed his wife and seven-year-old son before committing suicide. He too was a drug abuser and that was confirmed by autopsy reports.

Earlier this month, former WWE Champion Jeff Hardy was arrested on multiple drug charges while also allegedly trafficking opium. A charge of this stature can result a sentence of three to 14 years in prison.

As CEO of the WWE, Linda McMahon and her husband, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, were responsible for abiding by their wellness program. If done right, the wrestlers in the WWE would be forced to clean their acts; however, the wellness program has been nothing but a lie to push away any investigations by Congress, which actively investigated the company in 2007 following the Benoit tragedy.

Do you want a woman who has been surrounded by the often wacky world of professional wrestling to be in the United States Senate? She’ll just be another conservative making decisions against the will of citizens because she can with deep pockets. When the power gets to your head, the money takes its course and corrupts the power.
