Pain at the pump |
Jolly Ol' Saint RIC-Shaw
As gas prices in Southern California hit FIVE DOLLARS PER GALLON, Singin' Santa & Diva Claus have found a way to stretch their transportation budget: The Saint RIC-Shaw! California now considers scooters under 50cc to be Motorized Bicycles (NOT motor vehicles-- so no license, insurance, registration, etc). Santa Ric Erwin built this trailer from a wheelchair frame (enlarged to handle his 3X Cookie Zone). He uses it for local trips to the grocery store, hardware store, library, etc-- and his little dog Shi-Shi just LOVES it! His teenage kids get a thrill riding in the St. RIC-Shaw-- but Diva prefers to drive, thank you very much!
