Donna Marie's Cucina
Good Morning Robin,
I am the owner of Donna Marie's Cucina, I specialize in homemade cookies and Italian food. I have always had a passion and love for people and good home cooked food. I've come from an Italian family and cooking was apart of everyday life. My grandmother taught me to be able smell and taste for that perfect combination of ingredients, it is an art.
Throughout the years I cooked for family and friends and provided dinners for shut ins. I was constantly involved in providing food for some occasion.
At the age of forty -six I decided to go back to school and enter the culinary program. For me it was quite the challenge, I have Multiple Sclerosis and everyday life is a challenge, not to mention going back to school. I was concerned about everything from the heat in the kitchen, to carrying heavy pots. I made the decision to try my best and to "go for it." My husband was very supportive!
I finished the program in May of 2009 and my business has been opened for over a year. My husband remodeled my kitchen to keep me in my home. My home is the best place for me to work and be productive. My kitchen My Comfort Zone!
