    How a Giraffe Eats Grass

    This picture was taken @ the Peoria Zoo in Peoria, IL. They have 2 magnificent, young giraffes. This one decided he wanted some grass. I never thought about how they'd get something from the ground & was amazed when I saw how much trouble this one was going to to get a bite of grass. It looked very uncomfortable, yet was gracefull.  I am a short person & like being closer to the ground, smile!
