    Australia Dust Storm, Surfers Paradise

    Beaches at Surfers Paradise remain popular during the dust storm with a few taking a swim or perhaps washing off. The beaches were open (lifeguards operating) but more red flags placed along unpatrolled areas.

    Road conditions were slightly more hazardous because of reduced visibility.(Images taken at 4.30pm AEST, 23 September 09)
