Sydney dust storm |
Another dust storm !? - and this is here...
Another dust storm could be whipped up in two states in the coming days - but it wouldn't be as powerful as its predecessor.
The Bureau of Meteorology says a front moving from South Australia into NSW and parts of Queensland could whip up another dust storm.
A farmer near the border of South Australia, NSW and Queensland told that the dust storm already hit the area at about 9am (AEST) today.
Meteorologist Michael Logan said winds of up to 45km/h were expected to move across NSW in the next 24 hours.
"It will have the potential of picking up raised dirt," Mr Logan said.
He said the skies over Sydney were expected to be hazy early tomorrow, while the rest of the state could be affected by dust today and through the night.
"It’s unlikely to be as intense (as Wednesday’s)."
In Queensland, Ben Annells from the weather bureau said a dust storm could hit the state tomorrow afternoon and would peak early Sunday.
"It's going to be another fairly strong change ... but it depends what happens over South Australia today," he said.
"If they start seeing a quite a bit of dust out there, with poor visibility, it can translate to us."
Earlier this week, a massive dust storm blanketed NSW and Queensland for several hours.
Personally ,I hope it isn't gonna happen this time... and the sky will be as clear as on the pictures above.
(pictures : now/before)
And the rumors are true... another dust storm arrived this morning around 4 am to Sydney, but it is not as powerful as the previous one...
The sky is light orange , and you can taste ans smell the dust , so the pollution levels are rising once more In Australia.
