Chicago Event Promotes Heart Health
The Soulja Boy dance is actually useful in the fight against heart disease.
In Chicago's Grant Park, the city's chapter of the American Heart Association hosted the 2009 "Metro Chicago START! Heart Walk".
The event sought to raise 3 million dollars for prevention and awareness initiatives involving heart disease and stroke (the #1 and #3 killers, respectively)
Some of the sponsors included: Subway (which donated sandwiches), Meijer grocery stores (which donated bananas and bottled water), Aetna (which offered participants a chance to exercise with a Nintendo Wii setup) and Fifth Third Bank(which did what a bank does)
