iReporter's Documentary Wins Award
Chris Morrow's documentary short Wyland: Earth Day won the Best San Diego Film award at the San Diego Film Festival. The project began as a series of CNN iReports covering the work of renowned marine life artist Wyland in painting the roof of the Long Beach Arena on Earth Day. Fellow iReporters from the Southern California area gathered in the San Diego gaslamp district to celebrate the event.
