Fc Barcelona iReport: Dynamo Kiev Preview
Champions League Preview: FC Barcelona vs Dynamo Kiev
Barcelona face a tricky test Tuesday, 2:45 EST, when they host Ukrainian Premiere League Champions Dynamo Kiev.
The Camp Nou will be packed with the Blaugrana faithful as the club continues it's defense of the Champions League crown. However, the Catalan giants will be forced to do so without their French greyhound Thierry Henry.
After suffering an injury Saturday, Henry is doubtful to even dress for the match, allowing Spanish starlet Andres Iniesta to possibly start the match in the LW position.
Lineup Prediction is as follows.
Valdes
Alves--Puyol--Pique--Abidal
Yaya
Xavi Keita
Messi Iniesta
Ibra
Neither Pedro or Jeffren seem ready to start in a scenario as important as this, so look for Pep to use Iniesta for the majority of the match. Too bad Bojan is still out with a knock or else he'd be possibly getting the start.
Messi will be out for blood after being illegally bullied for most of the match against Malaga, so look for him to really set the tone early and threaten to put one on the ole onion bag nice and early.
Official Prediction: 3 - 1
Goals from Messi (2) Ibrahimovic (1)
After a shaky start against Malaga last week, hopefully Pep Guardiola will have the boys back to set the tone for the remainder of the Champions League group stage.
Check back for a post match wrap-up after the final whistle.
