    The Harvest Moon occurs on the nights of October 3-4, 2009.

     

    This was taken through a telescope in Belmar, New Jersey USA by Mike Black night of October 4 2009.

     

    Clouds can be seen crossing the face of the full moon.

     

    The motion of the Moon across the screen is really the magnified real-time rotation of the Earth.
