    Helping neighbors find a job

On August 31, HireNeighbors' launched its first exclusive job fair in Fairburn, Georgia.  It  was a hit!  A front page news article in the South Fulton Neighbor newspaper (August 26) spread the word.  Over 200 job seekers responded.  For crowd-control purposes, 102 job seekers were pre-registered, 86 showed up.  Four companies were present.  Chick-fil-A provided coupons for a free chicken sandwich.  Fairburn's Mayor Hannah and the City Manager provided the Fairburn Annex building for the event.  Each job seeker received valuable information and a list of twelve companies that had numerous employment opportunities.   WSB-TV and 11Alive News stopped by to film a story.    According to 11Alive News Reporter Chris Sweigart, "What it lacked in size it made up for in community spirit".   The second successful event was

September 23 in Peachtree City, Georgia.  A third event is already in the works!
