My Office Romance Result
My husband and me and our son. We met in 2005 at our then-employer and started dating shortly after I started working. There were no specific interpersonal relationship rules, but the CFO was strongly against our romance and took every chance to advise us on the potential hazards we were exposing ourselves to on a personal and career level. We always kept our relationship professional at work and kept ourselves above any type of reproach. Four years later and we're married with a 16-month old son and a daughter due in December. I am now a stay-at-home mama and he is working for a different company. Life is great! Our office romance blossomed into a love affair that grows stronger every day through the good and tough times. I met my partner, my best friend, and my confidante at the office and firmly believe that when Cupid plucks his bowstring, that arrow can come flying at you from any angle.
