I wanted to look at this from a non biblical standpoint for a moment.

You could actually be an atheist and believe we are living more toward the "End" than the "Beginning"

How could the World End??....take your pick..!!!

*Nuclear Devastation* - There have never been more nations with nukes...It stands to reason that the more nations that have them, statistically the more the chance of someone using them...But the problem extends to how much more powerful the nukes of today are AND the response from supporting nations toward other "hostile" nations resulting in a nuclear holocaust and a planet unfit to live on.

*Massive Global Flooding* - Unheard of in our time. It has been scientifically stated that if all the ice caps were to melt the only thing left would be mountain tops!!....Again a planet without sustainable life at least for mankind.

*Worldwide fatal Pandemic* - Again according to warnings from those following the evolvement of disease strains and our overuse of antibiotics along with new and creatively deadly germs....At ANY time we could have a new disease break that could wipe the Earth's population out..

*Biological Weapons of Mass Destruction* - Leave it up to mankind who in an effort to spread (or control)hatred invents a biological hazard that could spread worldwide and not be stopped.

*Asteroid Collision* - Many astronomers have attributed the last so called near extinction of Earth's inhabitants to an Asteroid shower..It would also reason that sooner or later the planet's luck at missing them would run out.

*Severe change in the Sun projection (Giant Solar Flare)* - We all know that everything with regards to planetary alignment and Sun projection is perfectly situated as to be the ultimate set up for Earth....These conditions have changed as observed in other Galaxies and at some point or another will change in ours.

*Gamma Ray Burst * - Which sort of goes along with the previous but it actually something different in that they originate from different galaxies. One way the burst could happen would be the collapsing of two stars.

*Reversal of the Earth’s Magnetic Fields* - Although this might not kill EVERY human on the planet it would kill most of them.

*Global Warming* - What if Al Gore is right?

*Robots take over* - Yeah, Sure I’m stretching here but I went to a site to get some more food for thought.!!!!.....I think we can safely say we’ve got a century on this one.

*Alien Invasion* - Do you really believe we are the only beings to exist in the Universe…..How prudish of you.!!....And if Aliens do visit, obviously they would be superior to us since they’re flying around the Universe!...lol

*Other Prophets* - Nastradamous makes many good points and prophetic predictions which include that the end of the world would end in one big explosion. And there’s Edgar Casey….The Ancient Mayans…etc etc…

You see it’s much more than just the Bible saying it’s all coming to a close.

The End WILL COME whether you believe it will or not.
