Founder of online community ,MyClozet.
My friend is the founder of online community called MyClozet to swap, sell and buy clothes. Beside her full time job as software Engineer, she has invested gruesome hours to help people make some money and save money by selling, swaping and buying apparel online. She has created this website called myclozetwhich has become a hub for seller, buyers and swappers to market their item for free. She is the sole creator of this website who wears hats of marketer,programmer,customer service rep etc.
She felt a need for this kind of platform through her own horrifying experience trying to sell clothes online and in stores during her college year. When she had no success in selling item at Platos Closet and ebay(charged money for listing).
Now she has created this platform for people to swap,sell and buy clothes online. She gets her motivation from her online user(member of myclozet).
Not only you can sell ,swap ,and buy clothes , its also an online community where you can communicate with people make groups etc.
Its a fantastic tool for small business to promote themselves, also for mom working from home.
She has put in gruesome hours out of her 8 to 5 job and money for servers, to create this website for people at free of cost. Throuhg her website she is helping non profit organizations to promote their events which is related to garage sale etc.
We don't realize that how much item we have in our closet which we never wear, and could be used by others. People want to make little money by selling the item stuffed in their closet and she thinks they should not be charged to do so. Therefore, the
service provided by the site is all for free, which is easy to use and people from around the world can share their wardrobe.
I think its a great way to save money and make money during the time of recession. Especially its very good way to recycle clothes especially those party wears or special occasion dresses which we wear one time.
I thought her story would be fit for Young People who Rock,because she spends time sitting online to help people instead of partying.
