    This would be a great project for Ireporters.

    Find a homeless person in your town and ask him/her how they became homeless. Was it due to the cost of healthcare, a mental illness, or another reason? I talked to one recently who was the first in his family to go to college, and went on to become an attorney. Alcohol consumed his life, however, and he lost everything. I know it's easy to walk past someone who has less than you do, but there is a story behind each and every homeless person.
