Oku central fig tree
The fig tree in the oku central market. was and is the station under which the kwifon stands to give a general announcement to its people.The kwifon is the "parliament"like body that take decisions for the general coomunity.This fig tree is as old as the Oku market itself.I asked why the fig tree_? and some one said was an undying tree and that the oku nation came to stay,and uses the fig and peace plant as some of its symbols
