This iReport is part of an assignment:
Creative cubicles |
Cheetoes and Coke Cubicle
I actually can't take much credit for this piece of creativity. I work at Westwood College as a reporting analyst. I took May 30th off work because it was my birthday. When I returned, I thought people had forgotten since I didn't see the usual streamers and balloons. Much to my amazement, when I rounded the corner, I saw that my coworkers had choreographed a Cheetoes and Coke display in my cubicle.
60+ small Cheetoes bags (along with a few medium and large sized bags) and 30+ Coke bottles were positioned, thumbtacked and generally arranged around my cubicle. As the finishing touch, a birthday card that said "My cat picked out your presents" rested on my keyboard.
They got their inspiration because I often munch on Cheetoes while planning out code or thinking about a problem, and I drink Coca-Cola to keep me awake while I start typing away. It gets to the point that I often have Cheetoes and Coke "for breakfast".
My coworker Justin Jaramillo came up with the idea and he and my boss, Mark Diekhoff, did the decorations.
There are still over 25 bags left and about 20 bottles of Coca-Cola. Throughout the last two weeks, random people throughout the company stop by for some Cheetoes or just to giggle and shake their heads. It's been hilarious.
Would you want some Cheetoes? No? Are you sure?... :)
