If you went out and bought your sweetie a diamond ring, you probably did it to make her happy. Unfortunately, your girlfriend saw that movie Blood Diamond, and she tells you to get it out of her face. Okay. At this point and time, she is mad because of the politics and atrocities behind diamond mining. Christmas rolls around, and you buy her a huge diamond pendant necklace. This time she shoves it in your face. Do I really need to explain why she is mad this time? I am assuming that I do since so many guys just don't get it.

You obviously don't listen to what she has to say, even when it is something that she is passionate about. Sure it is hard to remember that her favorite color is fuchsia, not magenta, but how many times has a girl told you that she doesn't ever want a diamond from you? Is it really that hard to remember?

People make mistakes every day, but the cool thing about us adults is that we can actually learn from them. If you step on someone's foot and it hurts them, you apologize and put "do not step on foot" on your to-do list.

You don't do it anyhow and blame them for having a sensitive foot.
