This iReport is part of an assignment:
Sound-off |
The 20th Century Motor Company
Ayn Rand, in 'Atlas Shrugged', made a case for the evils of having the ruling class/government take care of everyone's needs.
It is a good story that should give everyone pause to think about the consequences of giving up your right as an individual for the so-called 'common good'.
I make this post knowing that most of the people who, on these pages, advocate more government control will not read it. That they will continue to look for the government, or somebody, to take care of their lives so that they can be free from responsibility.
Is the American Spirit becoming one of pusillanimity?
