Military Industrial Complex Should Become Explorers Of Space and Our Oceans

When we see SciFi movies, many suggest we are already exploring strange new worlds and encountering alien civilizations. Some are good and some are bad, but our military is always ready to defend the planet Earth.

I see a new role for our military and their budget. When you see the charts, you'll notice that the largest amount of our budget expenditure is in "defense".

We can create millions of jobs in new areas that would invest in our future. Imagine the excitement we'd feel from truly being on the right course !

If we were to take33% of that budget and allocate it to the exploration of space, the defense of our planet from an incoming meteor, to develop technology that would make interplanetary exploration possible, and a better understanding of the forces in our universe, I believe the military would be better for it.

Now we use the power of the United States to blow things up. We need our military industrial complex to become explorers of space and our oceans. There are many undiscovered technologies and energies around us.

If we were to just stop, and listen, we may find a voice that's long been inside us that speaks to the very essence of whom we are as a people..as a civilization

Changing the main goal of our military can help us solve the problems we all face on this planet.
