    The Buck Starts Here

In the past, Presidents wisely limited blaming others for the ills of the present.  They focused on moving forward with their agendas. It wasn’t necessary to directly pin blame on those policies because informed people already knew what came before. If anything, his subordinates would take potshots, but the President would rise above all that by staying focused on the task at hand.  There were the obvious failures; Richard Nixon comes to mind. He created the Fecal Roster that demonized the press and others and he paid dearly for it.

Obama seems to be headed down that same road. He spends as much time blaming others as working on anything of substance. Even with the fastest falling poll numbers going back to Carter, he still pursues a path that he’s going to pay for dearly, just like Nixon.

He’s making his list and checking it twice:

    George Bush

    Insurance carriers

    Fox News

    Republicans

    George Bush

    Banks

    Wall Street

    Corporations/business

    People making over 250k

    George Bush

    Any criticism i.e. Tea Parties

    The elderly

In business I never try to make a competitor look bad to a potential client. Trying to make someone look bad in order to make your self look better doesn’t work. The client is smart enough to see that on their own.
