    Latino in America;

    Ms. O'Brien did a decent job tonight, i can relate to both sides of the latino issue, but there is a sad fact that will forever prevent a mixing of both American and Latino races, and that is illegal immigrants, latino's are afraid to attend American church services, not because of the language barrier, but because they are afraid of losing loved one's or family member who are not documented alien's, and this problem will continue until the illegal immigrant problem is solved, this will only happen if both the U.S. government and the mexican government devise a plan that will help Mexican citizens find job's and decent housing in Mexico itself, there is NO other way to find a solution that will not drain social service's, police service's and our employment infrastructure to get American citizen's back to work.

      On the language issue, well, i am 70 % deaf and have requested many times that my church post a whiteboard behind the choir so i can follow what is going on, what song's to sing and prayers to pray, this was refused, as the church cannot act on every need of every patron, so i figure the language difference is no differant at all, it is just the willingness of the individual to adapt, or the church to be what it is suppose to be, and that is a charitable institution, but then again, even priest's are governed by human nature.

    Ms.O'Brien has my thanks for trying.
