High Altitude Balloon bursting at 90000 feet

Engineering students at the University of Southern Indiana executed a high altitude balloon flight, Saturday October 24.
The 2.5 hour flight started in Mt. Vernon, IL and ended in Daviess County, Indiana.
The balloon burst, shown in the accompanying photo, occurred at 90000 feet just east of Vincennes, Indiana. The payload of experiments and engineering devices landed by parachute in a tree next to West Boggs Lake.
