Perfectly timed for Halloween a haunted House opens in Second Life.

You want to visit the entertainment park of your
childhood dreams, but it is too far away? Come
and visit the haunted House of the second Pride team, is just a mouse click away in Second Life.

A brainstorming and 6 months later an evolutionary
idea was brought into life; "Why not build an entertainment park in Second Life". 8 friends gathered together, spread over continents and time zones started a build Second Life hasn´t seen before. New skills had to be learned and the work in the spare time done.

A spooky voice greets me: "Join us, Foolish Mortals,
at our ghostly celebration that everyone's dying to attend."
I dare to attend and the result is a stunning attraction that could find its place in any amusement park around the world. The ride itself is a pure fun and made me several times chuckle about the lovely details of this build.

Agent Strangelove is the friendly host and we
    start an interview:

[23:27]  Kiko Hunniton: i thank you all for your contributions
[23:28]  Agent Strangelove: I agree, allot of good things.
We couldn't have done this without people being so bend on perfection.

[23:28]  Agent Strangelove: Thank the people that believe in us.
[23:30]  Agent Strangelove: Without there imagination, and spirit to believe,
SL.. Well SL just wouldn't be a place. I've worked with everyone from severe
handicapped to people spread around the world. we'll take that one set at
a time and this ride gives the opportunity, to enjoy SL.

[23:52]  Agent Strangelove: I imagined new things, we all did, from the decorators to the people behind the code and managers. It was something always bigger then us. Always had been and given
a challenge we stepped forward into it. Now we had minor meetings here and there. mostly to try and figure out how, were, what we would need. From a whole simulator in Second Life to basics. People do this everyday in there jobs, being cutting deli meat to trying to making a rock face explode for harvesting for gravel. We had the chance, working, most of us a out of SL job and did many off these things on our own time.

[0:21]  Kiko Hunniton: sl is for many people a platform where they discover often an unconditioned  self
[0:24]  Agent Strangelove: OH wow yes. Yes!  Its an open road. Really. And I think it's a good place to be. There are so many opportunities here, interacting in three different languages to trying to point and help someone to press a button to fix or do that. Its really the point I always found rewarding in SL. And they speak Russian........... But wow, oh  wow, you can still walk em through it and you make a friend for life.

0:31]  Kiko Hunniton: Agent -- your goals and wishes for the future - in sl and rl
[0:31]  Agent Strangelove: People need to see that we are regular people, like they are, living life. We stub our toes, make mistakes. Its just we do different things behind closed doors.
[0:32]  Kiko Hunniton: Agent, thank you very much for the interview

[2:33]  Kiko Hunniton: anything you want to tell the readers ?
[2:33]  Kharissa Indigo: that this Project was done by many and was a team effort. I hope everyone enjoys it
[2:35]  Kharissa Indigo: I love the build it's so awesome and Tiger and Kiro did some great work :)
[2:35]  Kiko Hunniton: indeed - i had great joy doing the ride and heard a lot ahhh s and ohhhs from others
[2:36]  Kharissa Indigo: heheh that's wonderful!!!
[2:38]  Kharissa Indigo: SP is doing alot of stuff this year and I think it's great not just club fundraisers but exploring  new areas, It keeps it much more interesting
[2:39]  Kiko Hunniton: thank you Kharrissa

A group of people came together, had a funny idea and
realized it. A group of people where some wear funny
shapes like foxes, they opened there eyes and ears
and listened to ideas and overcame problems in an
atmosphere of respect, despite living on different
continents, and set an example for teamwork.
Beside all these achievements they offer the joyride
for free and hope for a smile on your face.
